Thank you for Kerala Cafe.
You may have heard it a zilliontimes by now.

Each film carried a slice of Kerala.

In fact one also realised how many of the directors who are established names in the commercial circuit normally pander to demands of 'box office success'!

Nine out of the ten films I liked. Mrityunjayam, well made but the theme is one that am not too fond of. But it also showed the man knew what he wanted to say and said it well. And that is important.

Revathi & Anjali Menon - kudos to both. Loved the O'Henry twist to 'Happy Journey'.

More than all this is the flik'r of hope it raises-we have talent, it is only the will and determination that does not seem to come at the right momentfor Malayalam cinema to start looking up once more .
